Job Overview
Wright Behavior Services, LLC is a new, woman-owned Medicaid waiver support company seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Consultant available to work in any of the following counties: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Montgomery, Putnam and Shelby. In this vital role, you will develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans to support children and individuals with special needs. Your expertise will help foster positive behavioral changes, enhance well-being, and promote independence. As a 1099 independent contractor, you set your own schedule and can work as much or as little as you prefer. If you're new to being a BC, we actively help you get started building a caseload. If you're interested in becoming a BCBA, we can provide assistance in obtaining supervision hours. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and strengths
- Develop, implement, and monitor tailored behavior intervention plans
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to track progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in interventions
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavioral techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Maintain up-to-date requirements such as car insurance, TB skin test, etc
Requirements
- Proven experience with behavioral therapy techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Strong background working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or Autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
- Experience in data collection
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Master’s degree in psychology, special education, social work, counseling or related field OR be a LMFT/LCSW/ or LMHC under IC 25-23 OR have a Master's degree in a human services field and be able to demonstrate either coursework in or 5 years of experience in devising, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans
