Accountant
Description: To provide accounting support by analyzing and reporting financial transactions to ensure financial statement accuracy.
Qualifications:
· Degree in accounting or related field preferred, experience may be substituted
· Strong understanding of GL and financial statement reconciliation
· Excellent problem-solving abilities, multi-tasking skills, and be able to work independently and efficiently
· Strong MS Office skills required (Excel), experience in DMS Intellidealer a plus
· Strong understanding of dealership environment and practices
· Excellent organizational skills
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare and maintain asset logs, depreciation schedules, accounts, etc.
· Prepare and process journal entries for month end, quarter end and annual close
· Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet and income statements, and provide analysis of financial statements
· Prepare and/or update reports, collect and analyze information, reconcile weekly/monthly statements to GL
· Maintain GL accounts weekly to ensure accuracy of financial statements
· Filling of all related paperwork in a timely and organized manner
· Special projects as assigned
Salary Commiserate Upon Experience
Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
