What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floating Building Substitute position at Wrentham Public Schools?
Wrentham Public Schools is seeking a reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic Floating Substitute Teacher to join our school community two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
In this role, you will provide classroom coverage for teachers in Preschool through Grade 6 while they attend special education meetings throughout the school day. Assignments will vary, so the ideal candidate is adaptable, enjoys working with students of all ages, and is comfortable transitioning between classrooms.
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom supervision and instruction following the teacher's lesson plans.
Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Work with students in Preschool through Grade 6.
Adapt quickly to different classroom routines and grade-level expectations.
Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff.
Qualifications:
Valid substitute teaching certification or eligibility to serve as a substitute teacher (as required by state regulations).
Experience working with children is preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Dependable, organized, and flexible.
