We’re looking for a hands-on QA Manager to lead quality across our Engineering & Product organization. This is not a “manage from a distance” role—you’ll be embedded in the work, driving test strategy while actively participating in execution. You’ll own how we define, measure, and scale quality—leveraging modern frameworks and AI-powered testing to increase coverage, speed, and reliability without adding unnecessary overhead.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Hands-On Quality Execution
- Participate directly in test planning, test case development, and execution
- Set the quality bar through strong test design and defect reporting
- Operate as a working leader within active release cycles
- Own QA Strategy & Frameworks
- Define end-to-end QA strategy (functional, regression, integration, performance)
- Build scalable testing frameworks aligned to product and platform growth
- Drive AI-First Testing Operations
- Implement AI-driven testing approaches (automated regression, synthetic test generation, API validation)
- Evaluate and adopt tools that expand team capacity and efficiency
- Manage Release Quality
- Establish release readiness criteria and quality gates
- Partner with Engineering to ensure QA is built into release planning
- Lead Contractors & Delivery
- Manage QA contractors, ensuring alignment to sprint priorities and timelines
- Own the quality of all QA deliverables
- Own Defect Lifecycle & Reporting
- Lead defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
- Provide clear quality metrics and insights to leadership
- Improve Through Post-Incident Reviews
- Participate in root cause analysis for production issues
- Strengthen QA processes and coverage based on learnings
- Partner Cross-Functionally
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product on testable requirements and coverage expectations
- Serve as the voice of quality in planning and delivery discussions
- 5-10 years in QA / Software Testing, including leadership experience
- Proven ability to operate as a player-coach (hands-on leadership)
- Experience building or scaling QA frameworks in modern web environments (SaaS)
- Strong understanding of test automation, APIs, and release processes
- Background in performance or load testing and the tooling that supports it (k6, JMeter, or equivalent).
- Experience working with AI-enabled QA tools or a strong interest in adopting them (Postman, RestAssured, or AI-assisted API validation agents)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
