Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part Time Brewer to assist in our brewing operations and ensure the production of high-quality craft beers. The ideal candidate will see aspects of brewing, sanitation, safety, and quality control, while maintaining compliance with food safety standards. Duties
- Learn the entire brewing process from raw materials to finished product, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain sanitation procedures in accordance with HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe brewing environment.
- Monitor and operate brewing equipment, including kettles, fermenters, packaging lines, and forklifts as needed.
- Implement and maintain manufacturing best practices, including mechanical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate packaging operations and warehouse activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure compliance with food industry standards and safety regulations related to food safety and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production records, quality checks, and safety inspections.
- Collaborate with management on product development initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in brewing operations within the craft beer industry or related food manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to brewing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with manufacturing processes including packaging and warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and process documentation.
