Job Description:
Responsible for making local deliveries and pick-ups to our customers in the St. Louis area, into commercial docks. At our location, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments with electric pallet jacks. This position is also responsible for maintaining and organizing the warehouse. The candidate must have forklift and pallet jack experience, and possess a Class A, Class B, Class C or Class E driver’s license. The duties will be split according to the daily needs on our production floor, warehouse work, and making local pick-ups and deliveries in our company provided “dock-high” box truck. If you only possess a Class E driver’s license, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience driving a dock high box truck to apply. All applicants must have a clean driving record.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Operate a pallet jack to move and organize product in the warehouse
· Operate a forklift to stack/unstack skids in the warehouse
· Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks with accuracy and efficiency
· Make local deliveries to and from our customers in a safe and timely manner
· Communicate effectively with team members and customers
· Must have great retention.
· Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in our warehouse
Experience:
· Previous experience working in a warehouse is required
· Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift is required
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time. This job involves some physicality as it pertains to bending over, lifting, etc.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure shipments are routed correctly
· Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
· Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
40 hours per week, and some overtime is required.
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
