Working directly on an assembly or production line, they ensure products are inspected for quality, accurately counted, and securely packaged according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Packing & Assembly: Manually or with semi-automated tools, place products into boxes, crates, or other containers at a speed that matches the production line flow.
Quality Control: Visually inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packing, and remove any items that do not meet quality standards. Labeling & Weighing: Apply correct labels, stickers, or stamps to packages; verify code dates and weights as required by customer specifications.
Palletizing: Stack completed boxes onto pallets according to specific patterns to ensure stability for transport. Equipment Operation: Use basic warehouse equipment like tape dispensers, handheld scanners, and manual pallet jacks.
Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area, follow all safety protocols (including wearing PPE like hairnets or safety glasses), and report machinery issues to supervisors.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
