Territory Sales Manager | Heavy Equipment
Salary: $80,000 base generous performance-related pay
Location: Field-based, Memphis / Mid-South
Type: Full-time
We’re working with an established heavy equipment and industrial services provider seeking a Territory Sales Manager to win new business and grow existing accounts across steel mills, scrap yards, ports and manufacturing facilities.
Territory
West and Middle Tennessee from Clarksville west, excluding Nashville, plus northern Mississippi and parts of eastern Arkansas. Candidates can live anywhere reasonably central within the territory.
The Role
- Develop new accounts and grow equipment, parts and service sales.
- Sell heavy equipment, repairs, maintenance agreements, rentals and managed fleet solutions.
- Visit customer sites, assess equipment needs and recommend solutions that improve uptime and reduce operating costs.
- Work closely with technicians and service managers on quotes and proposals.
- Manage territory coverage, customer relationships and an accurate CRM pipeline.
Requirements
- 10 years of outside sales experience in heavy equipment, lift trucks, industrial equipment or aftermarket/product support.
- Proven success winning new business and growing a territory. Equipment dealer experience is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a consultative, customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
