CMM Technician
Denver, Colorado | $30.00–$38.00 per hour | 100% Site-Based
We are working with an established calibration and measurement services provider seeking a CMM Technician for its Denver laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up and program Coordinate Measuring Machines
- Use 3D vision systems, single-axis measuring equipment and hand tools
- Inspect components against blueprints, dimensions and tolerances
- Interpret GD&T symbols and identify measurement discrepancies
- Establish efficient part setups, alignments, datums and origins
- Accurately record and report inspection results
Requirements
- Experience operating or programming CMM equipment
- Understanding of X, Y and Z axes, vectors and coordinate systems
- Knowledge of 3-2-1 alignments, datums, offset planes and translated origins
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
- Associate degree or technical qualification with at least one year of relevant experience
- Equivalent hands-on training and experience will also be considered
- Comfortable working within a laboratory environment and performing the physical duties of the role
