As part of our Mobile Engineering team, you'll play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance services, ensuring our clients' buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across our FM contracts.
- Carry out fault finding, testing, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Support the maintenance of building services including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and associated plant.
- Undertake minor installation works and electrical upgrades where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.
- Accurately complete job reports, compliance documentation, and service records using mobile technology.
- Support wider building services activities and collaborate with multi-skilled engineering colleagues.
- Participate in the on-call rota when required.
- Qualified electrician with City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
- 18th Edition (BS7671) certification.
- Experience working within Facilities Management, Building Services, or a maintenance environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and safe systems of work.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
