The Get Out the Vote is here in Portland! We are looking for energetic, community-minded individuals who want to spend their days outside, talking with voters, engaging neighborhoods, and helping make sure everyone has the opportunity to participate in the general election.
If you enjoy field work, meeting people, working independently, and being active in your community, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Conduct door-to-door voter engagement in assigned neighborhoods
- Speak with community members and provide election-related information
- Encourage voter participation and help connect residents with available voting resources
- Track daily field activity and completed contacts
- Represent our organization professionally in the community
What We're Looking For
- Local Portland-area residents preferred
- No previous experience required
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking neighborhoods
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong communication and people skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation (No Exceptions)
Compensation
Starting rate: $1.50/ per door
