Part-time business and residential cleaner

Job Description:

WP Developments is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist with cleaning and maintaining both commercial and residential properties.

This position will involve routine cleaning, deep cleaning, organization, and general upkeep of our business facilities and designated residential properties. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently without constant supervision.

The ideal candidate is trustworthy, dependable, efficient, and willing to take initiative to ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, refrigerator and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Dust and wipe down desks, countertops, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks.

Residential Cleaning

• Perform routine household cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust throughout residential properties.
• Clean countertops, appliances, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Change bed linens and assist with laundry as needed.
• Assist with household organization and general tidying.
• Perform occasional deep-cleaning projects.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.

General Responsibilities

• Travel between designated commercial and residential locations as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Identify and communicate maintenance or cleaning concerns.
• Manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of residential and business properties.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working in both commercial and residential environments.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions and maintain consistent standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
