We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, and reliable Events & Home Show Representative to join our marketing team. This individual will represent our company at home shows, trade shows, community events, and other promotional events throughout Maryland.
Position Summary
As an Events & Home Show Representative, you will serve as the face of Wow Your Closet at events across Maryland. Your primary responsibility is to engage with attendees, educate them about our products and services, and schedule in-home design consultations for our sales team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Travel to home shows, trade shows, fairs, and community events throughout Maryland
- Set up, maintain, and break down event displays and booth materials
- Engage with event attendees in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate potential customers about Wow Your Closet's products and services
- Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for our design team
- Accurately collect customer information and enter leads into company systems
- Represent the company professionally and positively at all times
- Assist with transporting marketing materials, displays, and promotional items to events
- Communicate event results, customer feedback, and lead information to management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, marketing, events, lead generation, or sales preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Dependable with excellent time management skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Maryland for events
- Ability to lift and transport up to 40 pounds of marketing materials and display items
- Weekend availability is required
