WOW Logistics is now hiring for an Inside Sales Manager!
As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be the catalyst between WOW’s Strategic Account Managers and our customers. In this position you will help drive profitable growth by assisting with contract renewals, rate negotiations, and general customer service related issues. You will also be responsible for managing new marketing initiatives through proactive outbound calling, email, and other communication mediums. Equally as important with this position is ensuring that all customers, and prospects, have an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and retain business relationships with existing customers
- Create a strong working relationship with Account Managers in a team selling environment
- Use business development skills to identify, qualify, obtain and develop relationships with prospective customers
- Assist in the management of rate and contract negotiations with prospective and existing customers
- Marketing initiatives, including contacting prospects and customers to schedule appointments/meetings
- Lead sales efforts via cold calling, lead generation and gathering sales intelligence
- Manage account, contact and opportunity data via WOW’s CRM – Salesforce.com
- Manage customer service requests from clients including invoicing questions, capacity requests, and new business requests
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Other general sales and marketing process tasks as required
Qualifications:
- 5yrs minimum sales and/or customer service experience
- Inside sales or customer service experience in a business-to-business environment preferred
- Strong phone skills
- Self-motivated
- Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
- Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Occasional travel required
