What You’ll Do

You’ll be out in the field keeping our network strong, reliable, and ready for anything:

· Troubleshoot and repair HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) networks

· Test and optimize signal performance

· Maintain key network equipment (nodes, fiber systems, power supplies)

· Perform fiber splicing and activation

· Handle outages and support emergency restoration

· Conduct preventative maintenance and system balancing

· Identify signal leakage and ensure compliance

· Support network expansion and serviceability

· Deliver excellent customer service while representing WOW! professionally

What You Bring

· Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing in HFC networks is highly preferred

· Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers

· Enjoy working outdoors and staying active

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Comfortable learning technical skills and using tools

· Ability to explain things clearly to customers

· Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, on-call rotation)

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

What the Job Is Really Like

This is not a desk job—and that’s the point.

· Working outdoors in all weather conditions

· Climbing ladders, working on poles/roofs, and in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)

· Lifting up to 90 lbs. and handling tools/equipment

· Operating company vehicles safely

· Working near electrical equipment and power lines
