Duties
- Pack products securely using appropriate materials handling techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inventory counts and documenting movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols.
- Support warehouse management by participating in inventory counts, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations.
- Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in construction or warehouse supervisor roles is advantageous but not required.
