Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care for patients with wounds, injuries, or post-surgical incisions. Responsibilities
Assessing and treating various types of wounds including surgical, traumatic, and chronic wounds
Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans
Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress
Educating patients and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Performing procedures such as wound debridement, dressing changes, and wound irrigation
Requirements
Valid NP license with Wound Care Certification preferred
Experience in wound care management, including knowledge of advanced wound care products and treatments
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Nice-to-have skills in areas such as home health care
