What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Varsity Girls Hockey Coach - 2026-2027 School Year position at Worthington School District 518?
REPORTS TO: The assistant varsity coach reports to the head girls hockey coach and activities director.
1. Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
2. The coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
3. The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Help design practice.
2. Work with varsity head coach to administer a comprehensive program.
3. Supervision of athletes involved in the program.
4. practice and carry out rules and procedures as defined by the Worthington School District.
