What you’ll tackle- Safety leadership—model safe work every time and follow all LOTO procedures.
- Die expertise—disassemble, repair, reassemble, and perform preventative maintenance on tooling and fixtures.
- Precision machining—run lathes, mills, and surface grinders; replicate or modify parts with/without blueprints.
- Process stability—set up, troubleshoot, and perform advanced adjustments to sustain quality output to ±0.0005".
- Collaboration—work across maintenance, electrical, engineering, quality, and production.
- Improvement—engage in CI and automation projects to remove waste and elevate performance.
- Professionalism—keep the area clean, complete documentation, and communicate clearly at all levels.
- Third shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am; 8–10 hours per day; weekends as needed
- Training available on first or second shift
- Compensation tied to Maintenance Mechanic 4 skill level and experience (up to $35/hour)
- $1.50/hour shift differential
- $5,000 sign-on bonus

- 2–5 years in machining or tool & die (required)
- Demonstrated die maintenance: sharpening, repair, grinding, timing, and modifications (required)
- Ability to read complex prints and fabricate parts accordingly (required)
- Independent work style with capacity to juggle multiple machines/tasks
- Metric/English conversion fluency
- Hands-on involvement with tooling changeovers; troubleshoot press startups and quality criteria
- Participation in new-tool tryouts; verify sample conformity
- Analytical problem-solving, urgency, and customer orientation
- Professional written and verbal communication; strong computer skills
- Lift up to 35 lbs; maintain clean and orderly conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; machinist certification preferred
