Educational Attendant--Colonial Hills
One full-time educational attendant to work the day shift, this position will work 7 hrs per day on 186-day schedule and be hired through the Educational Service Center (ESC).
Job Duties:
- Performs health care procedures
- Administers medications to students consistent with District policies and student IEPs
- Assists students to and from the bathroom
- Assists or feeds students
- Assists students getting on or off the bus
- Becomes familiar with individual students and their personal health needs
- Accompanies students as they move about the building or playground
- Recognizes when students are ill and notifies proper individuals
- Provides other personal health care needs as identified for individual students
