JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Worth County has an opening for a Motorgrader Operator. Position requires the ability to climb onto machine, and to operate control levers in a repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Duties and responsibilities involve the operation of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to move earth or stone to smooth or stabilize, may include but not be limited to the operation of moderate and heavy equipment and other duties as assigned. Employee works under the direction of and is responsible to the Public Works Director. Preference will be given to applicant possessing 3 years previous experience with the operation of heavy equipment which provides skill and ability to perform the duties of the position. High school graduate/GED equivalent and a valid Georgia Driver’s License required. A motor vehicle report (MVR) for previous 3 years, physical and drug test required prior to employment. Apply in the Worth County Board of Commissioners office located on the third floor of the Worth County Courthouse in Sylvester, Georgia, Monday-Friday, 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
