This role provides training coordination support for a registered apprenticeship program across multiple skilled trades, including HVAC, Sheet Metal, Millwright, Plumbing, and Pipefitting. The ideal candidate will serve as the welcoming face of the organization while ensuring the efficient management of training logistics, apprentice records, and regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Training Coordination & Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate apprentice records, including enrollment, progress tracking, certifications, and attendance.
- Prepare and distribute training materials, schedules, and communications to apprentices and instructors.
- Coordinate classroom and hands-on training logistics, including facility bookings and equipment needs.
- Assist with onboarding new apprentices and instructors, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure program compliance with state and federal apprenticeship regulations.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external agencies (e.g., Department of Labor).
- Track apprentice hours and competencies in alignment with program standards.
Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices regarding scheduling, documentation, and general inquiries.
- Liaise with instructors to support program delivery.
- Organize meetings, evaluations, and events related to apprenticeship training.
Data Management:
- Utilize apprenticeship management software to input and update apprentice data.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor program performance and apprentice progression.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with registered apprenticeship programs or trade industries (HVAC, Plumbing, etc.) Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in education, workforce development, or skilled trades
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
