What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pest Control Service Technician position at Worrell Pest Management?
Pest Control Service Technician
Part-time · Outdoor / Mobile · Company Vehicle · No Two Days the Same
If you like being outside, driving around, meeting people, and actually solving problems that matter—keep reading.
THE JOB
You're out there. Not stuck in a box.
Every day looks a little different. You load up your truck, head out on your route, and spend your day moving from customer to customer—homes, businesses, properties of all kinds. You diagnose the problem, treat it, and then explain to the customer exactly what you did and why. You leave and people feel safer than they did when you arrived. That's the job.
This isn't desk work. It's physical, it's hands-on, and it keeps you moving. You're outside more than you're in, and your vehicle is your office. If that sounds like freedom to you, you're the right kind of person.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Drive a company vehicle on a daily route to residential and commercial customer sites
- Inspect properties, identify pest issues, and determine the right treatment approach
- Apply treatments safely and effectively according to your training and licensing
- Talk with customers—explain what you found, what you did, and what they should expect
- Build relationships with your customers over time. Many of them will ask for you by name.
- Complete service documentation and route reporting—straightforward stuff
WHAT MAKES A GREAT FIT
- You like being out in the world, not planted at a desk
- You're a self-starter who manages your time and your route without someone looking over your shoulder
- You communicate clearly and genuinely enjoy interacting with people
- You take pride in doing the job right—the first time
- You're physically capable and comfortable working in various outdoor conditions
- You want your work to actually mean something
Salary : $15 - $20
