Job Description Senior Mechanical Project Manager - Milwaukee, WI Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin Salary: $100,000-$160,000, depending on experience Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Commercial Mechanical Construction Position Overview A well-established mechanical contractor is confidentially seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI. This position will oversee large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects ranging from approximately $5 million to more than $40 million. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities Manage commercial mechanical construction projects valued from $5M to $40M Oversee projects from preconstruction and planning through final completion Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, cost projections, and project profitability Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership Lead Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel Review mechanical drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation Oversee equipment and material procurement to maintain project schedules Monitor project performance, productivity, quality, safety, and financial results Identify potential risks and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget Participate in estimating, constructability reviews, scheduling, and project handoffs Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business Qualifications At least 7-10 years of mechanical construction project management experience Experience managing commercial mechanical projects valued at $5M or more Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems Proven experience with project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and change-order management Ability to lead multiple project teams and coordinate complex construction activities Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar software is preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $100,000-$160,000, depending on experience Performance-based bonus potential Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and paid holidays Professional development and career advancement opportunities Strong backlog of commercial mechanical projects in the Milwaukee market Apply Confidentially Experienced Senior Mechanical Project Managers in Milwaukee, WI, as well as qualified candidates interested in relocating, are encouraged to apply.
