Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary

Worldwide Retail Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operations of two warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing staffing and delivery needs, ensuring optimal productivity, and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

         •  Oversee daily operations of two warehouse locations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

         •  Review and assess staffing requirements to meet operational demands.

         •  Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery processes and improve service quality.

         •  Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment.

         •  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all warehouse operations.

         •  Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

         •  Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.

         •  Collaborate with other departments to align operational goals with company objectives.

         •  Manage and optimize scheduling to improve operational efficiency.

         •  Boost employee retention through effective leadership and engagement strategies.

         •  Serve as a leader and partner with project managers to ensure alignment on operational goals.

         •  Negotiate freight rates with long haul trailer load carriers, LTL carriers, and Parcel shipment carriers.

         •  OSHA certification compliance and safety knowledge.

Required Qualifications

         •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

         •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management.

         •  Proven leadership and team management skills.

         •  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

         •  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

         •  Proficiency in warehouse management software Epicor and Microsoft Office Suite.

         •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

         •  Master’s degree in a related field.

         •  Experience managing multiple warehouse locations.

         •  Familiarity with lean management principles.      

•  Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
