Purpose of the Job:
The Account Manager for Managed Services is responsible for communicating with customers to arrange shipping and receiving for their products, scheduling appointments, confirming contact information, entering orders into the system and addressing any issues throughout the process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Enter freight orders into system
• Set up appointments for carriers to pick up and drop off freight
• Track inbound and outbound freight to ensure on-time delivery
• Resolve any freight delivery issues
• Inbound and outbound calling
• High volume of email communications
• Detailed data entry of delivery information
• Coordinate with team members on status of shipments
Qualifications:• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Desire to learn and positive attitude
• Quality-driven and results-oriented
• Ability to build business relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Good attendance record
