Job Summary

The Lead Agent Commissary supports the Commissary Supervisor of the station. Tasks may include receiving products, ensuring carts are delivered to the aircraft in compliance with the customer required configuration, oversee the on-time delivery of the carts; leading the commissary team, educating associates on equipment and food safety, and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by the Supervisor. This is an exempt position and typically reports to the Commissary Supervisor.

Compensation Rate: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assists with training all associates on products and equipment safety.
• Helps to supervise the day-to- day activities of non-management associates.
• Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels
• Safely drives and operates a provisioning truck in the airport ramp area.
• Keeps work area clean by sweeping, mopping, wiping down counter tops and organizing warehouse supplies.
• Works in warehouse, preparing items for stocking and operating forklift and pallet jacks as necessary.
• Loads, unloads and services Company aircraft. Transports company material (COMAT) to and from aircraft.
• Attends initial and ongoing training (classroom and on-the-job), and keeps current on knowledge, information, and equipment to gain proficiency.
• Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies as needed.
• Must work under tight time constraints to accomplish quick turns of aircraft.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge and meet all local airport requirements
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be able to perform the job functions within a limited space and able to lift and move items of 70 pounds and/or, more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 25 to 65 pounds on raised surfaces
• Must be able to bend, stretch, and squat to position self while working in the designated work areas including aircraft galleys, provisioning vehicles, warehouse/office area, and other designated work areas
• Must be able to operate cutting tools to open supply boxes.
• Must be able to comply with WFS attendance standards.
• Must be able to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Lift, ben and stack bags/boxes weighing up to 70lbs onto carts, into bins, and into storage racks/shelves/compartments.
• Lift, bend, reach, stretch, and turn to stock bins, racks, containers and storage areas. May required standing on step stools or ladders in order to reach storage racks and baggage holding cages to remove and/or place boxes, suitcases, and other items weighing up to 70lbs.
