General Manager
Worldwide Equipment Sales of Michigan is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our Southfield, Michigan division. This full-time leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee sales, service, and parts operations in the transportation industry. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, proven experience driving revenue growth, and a passion for operational excellence.
As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our success—responsible for setting the vision, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of the Michigan facility, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with company objectives.
- Set and achieve performance targets for sales, service, and parts departments.
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, both domestic and international.
Parts & Service Excellence
- Drive profitability through effective parts pricing strategies and inventory management.
- Ensure service operations delivers top-tier quality and customer satisfaction.
- Implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and margin across parts and service.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate sales, service, and parts teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting successes and identifying areas for growth.
- Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategic planning.

Ideal Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in equipment sales, preferably in the auto or commercial vehicle industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills in a satellite environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
