Position Overview:
Guest Services Associates are responsible for ensuring WorldSprings guests are efficiently checked in for their reservation. They provide our guests with the education required to enjoy our property in the most effective and tailored way. Professionalism, positivity, and excellent guest service are a crucial part of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Eagerly greet customers with a welcoming, friendly demeanor.
- Assist customers with their purchases, respond to inquiries and resolve issues or concerns.
- Provide guidance on store policies, safety standards and facility knowledge.
- Receive and process payment from guests for products, services, and reservations.
- Accurately process credit card and electronic payments ensuring PCI compliance.
- Issue receipts or invoices for completed transactions.
- Hand out proper RFID credentials to guests.
- Ensure products are properly entered and scanned into the POS and that prices are accurate.
- Offer knowledge on products and promote the upselling of retail and spa offerings to maximize sales and customer engagement.
- Offer knowledge on property wide offerings including our mineral formulas, food and beverage offerings, spa and wellness offerings, etc.
- Enforce and adhere to all departmental, property, and safety policies and procedures.
- Identification checks to ensure compliance with age-related regulations.
- Reporting shoplifters, counterfeit bills, or any other suspicious activities that may be detrimental to the property.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Some weekend availability required.
- Ability to work some weeknights, and holidays.
- Integrity and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
