This position oversees all phases of maintenance and construction at Worlds of Fun, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, electronic, carpentry, painting, fiberglassing, and plumbing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts, schedule contractors, and coordinate services to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Select, train, and supervise maintenance employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
- Manage employee performance, resolve issues, and participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
- Communicate division status, report project progress, and monitor financial reports.
- Interface with government agencies to ensure park compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
