About the Job

The Seasonal Maintenance Inventory Warehouse Clerk provides administrative and operational support to the Maintenance Department by assisting with inventory control, parts receiving, stock distribution, data entry, and purchasing support activities. This position helps maintain accurate inventory levels, supports maintenance personnel with parts requests, and assists management with the ordering and tracking of maintenance materials and supplies.

This is a seasonal, non-union position intended to support maintenance operations during peak operational periods.

What You'll Do

Inventory Control

• Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records for maintenance parts, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform routine inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Reconcile physical inventory against computerized inventory records.
• Help identify inventory shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized.

Ordering and Purchasing Support

• Assist supervisors and management with preparing purchase requisitions and inventory replenishment requests.
• Obtain pricing, availability, and lead-time information from approved vendors.
• Track purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Maintain purchasing records and vendor information.
• Follow established purchasing and approval procedures.

Receiving and Distribution

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect shipments for visible damage and report discrepancies.
• Distribute parts and supplies to maintenance personnel as authorized.
• Maintain receiving documentation and inventory transaction records.
• Coordinate the transfer and movement of parts between storage locations.

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and stockroom areas.
• Assist with tool crib organization and inventory.
• Operate material handling equipment, as authorized and trained.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Support seasonal projects and other inventory-related activities as assigned.

Administrative Functions

• Enter inventory transactions, receipts, issues, and adjustments into inventory management systems.
• Maintain files, records, and reports related to inventory and purchasing activities.
• Generate routine inventory and usage reports.
• Communicate inventory concerns and supply needs to management.

• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Worlds of Fun Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Worlds if Fun's attendance requirements as outlined in Enchanted Parks' attendance policies.
• Adheres to Enchanted Parks' Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Minimum age: 18
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately enter and maintain inventory data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

• Previous warehouse, inventory control, purchasing, or storeroom experience.
• Experience with inventory management software.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or construction materials.
• Forklift experience or certification.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after receiving required training.

Other Duties

• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.
