Position Overview
The World’s End Coffee Co. (WECC) Programming Manager will develop and manage a dynamic calendar of events across our creative spaces, including The Screening Room (Lewisburg), The Perch (Lewisburg), and The Cub Community Stage (Eagles Mere).
Key Responsibilities
Programming & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain a consistent, diverse programming schedule across all WECC venues
- Actively book events including live performances, film screenings, readings, and community gatherings
- Identify and establish recurring programming (e.g., open mic nights, trivia nights, themed series)
Community Engagement
- Build relationships with:
- Local and regional artists, performers, authors, and filmmakers
- Community arts organizations and civic groups
- Student organizations at Bucknell University, Bloomsburg University, and other nearby institutions
- Clubs and affinity groups aligned with WECC’s mission
- Proactively recruit and onboard new partners and collaborators
Event Coordination
- Collaborate with WECC management to coordinate event logistics
- Ensure spaces are properly set up prior to events
- Serve as point of contact for booked talent/hosts; greet and support upon arrival
Calendar & Communications
- Maintain and regularly update the WECC event calendar
- Publish event listings to the WECC website in a timely and accurate manner
Additional Duties
- Identify and secure reliable hosts for recurring events (Open Mic, Trivia, etc.)
- Evaluate programming performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure all programming aligns with WECC brand and community standards
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling with required availability for occasional evenings and weekends based on events
Employment Terms
- This is a work-for-hire, independent contractor position
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
