Furniture & Accessories Store
We are seeking a motivated, creative, and customer-focused Retail Sales & Design Associate to join our growing furniture and home accessories team. The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design, enjoys building relationships with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with furniture, décor, and accessory selections to create inspiring and functional spaces
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and design process
- Maintain strong product knowledge of furniture collections, finishes, textiles, and accessories
- Develop creative design solutions tailored to customer needs and preferences
- Process sales transactions, special orders, and follow-up communications
- Collaborate with team members to maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards
- Support inventory management and administrative tasks as needed
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of sales experience in the design and/or home furnishings industry
- Creative disposition with a passion for design, curiosity, and innovation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a high-pressure retail environment
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Availability to work Saturdays as part of a retail schedule
