The Role: We are looking for a Junior Quant Developer to join the Platform & Operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong, early-career candidate who enjoys solving real problems and wants to make a direct and tangible impact on the business.
You will work alongside expert developers and portfolio managers, building systems, interfaces, and tools that support day-to-day portfolio management operations. We value clear thinking, strong fundamentals, and a proactive attitude over years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of systems, interfaces, and tools that support portfolio management workflows
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues in existing tools and infrastructure
- Monitor and support production systems, responding to incidents and ensuring reliability
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and technical documentation
- Continuously improve team productivity by maximising modern development tools and practices
What You'll Bring:
Technical
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Solid practical experience in Python and/or C
- Good working knowledge of Bash scripting and Linux environments
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

- Good working knowledge of Claude or other LLM ecosystems - understanding how to apply them effectively across the full development workflow, from problem analysis and debugging to solution design and documentation
- Uses LLM tools with good judgment and critical thinking - not blind code generation, but as a genuine force multiplier for quality, speed, and clarity
- Able to bring this attitude to the broader team and contribute to raising overall productivity
