The Role
- Monitor execution across equities, FX, Futures and other asset classes, trading in different regions.
- Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow.
- Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant’s models.
- Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.
- Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk and many other teams.
- What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top tier institution
- 1 years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategies
- Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading
- Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plus
- Experience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities, FX, fixed income, credit, derivatives)
