Position Summary

The Regional Vice President, Sales serves as a key member of the National Sales Leadership Team, responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy that drives growth, profitability, and customer excellence across multiple states and branch networks. This role provides strategic oversight of sales execution, talent development, customer engagement, and operational collaboration to achieve business objectives. The Regional VP acts as a bridge between field operations, corporate functions, and executive leadership — fostering alignment, accountability, and innovation within the region.


Primary Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies that align with national goals and WORLDPAC’s vision of pre-eminence in customer service and operational excellence.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable sales plans with measurable KPIs, revenue targets, and market growth initiatives.
  • Lead annual sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance planning processes for the region.

Team & Talent Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Sales Directors and Sales Managers.
  • Build organizational capability through succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with WORLDPAC values.

Customer & Market Growth

  • Build strategic partnerships with key customers, vendors, and industry stakeholders to expand market share and profitability.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies tailored to customer segments.
  • Oversee regional pricing, product mix, and promotional strategies to optimize margin and competitiveness.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Distribution, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on customer delivery, service quality, and financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze regional performance dashboards, identifying trends and leading cross-functional problem solving.
  • Champion digital tools, analytics, and technology adoption to enhance sales productivity and customer engagement.

Leadership Communication

  • Serve as the regional voice to senior leadership, providing insights, risks, and recommendations.
  • Communicate strategy and performance expectations clearly to ensure organizational alignment and engagement.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10 years in automotive aftermarket or B2B distribution sales, with at least 5 years in a senior multi-region leadership role.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational change, including assessing impacts, developing transition strategies, and leading implementation efforts to ensure successful adoption and minimal disruption.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the automotive parts industry, supplier relationships, and customer dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management and strategic planning.

Travel

Up to 40% travel within assigned region and to corporate headquarters as required.


Location

Remote within the assigned region; proximity to major transportation hubs preferred.
