For more information about our craft, visit .Who we're looking for:We are looking for a Communications Manager (HE) who will be responsible for supporting the Home Entertainment (HE) division - which includes the industry-leading portfolio of TVs, projectors, audio and memory innovations. You will report to and work closely with the Sr. Manager of PR, and will collaborate frequently with the larger PR and Consumer Insights teams, PR agencies and integrated marketing teams.Role and Responsibilities:
  • Tell the story of Home Entertainment leadership in the US and its impact on the industry, business environment and consumer experience.
  • Drive internal and external thought leadership programs for Home Entertainment executives, including heads of business, marketing, sales, and product.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and agency partners to generate stories and deliver quality content, making the best use of available channels and tactics - including media, social media, speaking ops, and more.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager of PR, and Sr. Director of Integrated Marketing to co-develop and drive strategies and ensure their consistent implementation throughout the year.
  • Partner with agency to execute awards submission program, including identifying opportunities and crafting the content.
  • Assist product PR team as needed on various tasks, including launch campaigns, launch events, reviews, content creation, and any other needs that arise.
Required Experience and Education:
  • 5-8 years of consumer PR experience with demonstrated success in corporate and/or product media relations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in PR, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • Passion for and/or experience in consumer electronics and technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience developing communications objectives and plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Familiarity with agency management, including development of briefs, reporting, contracts, and budget management.

  • Ability to process and interpret complex information and turn difficult concepts into easy-to-understand and persuasive copy/messaging.
  • Good editorial judgment, accuracy and sensitivity.
  • Superior level of project management, analysis and presentation skills, including the ability to develop ROI-driven plans with clear objectives and measurement approaches.
  • Problem-solver who works with a sense of urgency with a positive attitude & passion for delivering results and creative thinking, despite challenges.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90% ) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines.
