About us
WorldKids School of Seattle is looking for a dynamic and energetic Spanish teacher to join our team. The preferred candidate should be a native-level speaker with prior preschool teaching experience. We serve ages eight weeks to five years
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Teach Mandarin Chinese in an Immersion Early Childhood setting. Prepare and serve meals and snacks that meet children's nutritional needs
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including toys, equipment, and supplies
- Collaborate with parents to ensure that their children's needs are being met
- Keep records of children's daily activities and progress, and share them with parents as needed
- Attend staff meetings and professional development training as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to complete all trainings required by DCYF
