Position Summary:
Our community bank is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Senior Commercial Banker to join our growing team in Walworth County, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of commercial banking experience and a proven track record of generating strong loan and deposit growth. This individual will play a key role in managing and expanding commercial client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the overall growth strategy of the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships, including C&I, CRE, and owner-occupied real estate loans.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive business development efforts and referral networks.
- Structure, negotiate, and underwrite commercial credit requests in accordance with bank policies and risk tolerance.
- Cross-sell deposit, treasury management, and other banking services to deepen client relationships.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure excellent client service and smooth loan origination and closing processes.
- Monitor loan performance, credit quality, and covenant compliance to maintain a healthy portfolio.
- Represent the bank in community and professional organizations to enhance brand visibility and support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven years of commercial banking experience, with demonstrated success in growing loans and deposits.
- Strong credit analysis, underwriting, and relationship management skills.
- Deep understanding of commercial lending products, financial statements, and local market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
