Business Development Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain Solutions
Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex (Hybrid)
A growing organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth with procurement, sourcing, supply chain, and operations leaders across North America.
This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who enjoys engaging senior executives, navigating complex sales cycles, and developing strategic relationships within large organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building executive-level relationships, developing business cases, and managing opportunities from prospecting through close.
The position focuses primarily on organizations within the food manufacturing, foodservice, restaurant, and consumer products sectors, where procurement and supply chain leaders manage significant spending across a variety of packaging and operational categories.
What You'll Do
- Develop and close new business opportunities with procurement, sourcing, supply chain, and operations leadership teams
- Build relationships with executive stakeholders responsible for cost management, supplier strategy, and operational performance
- Manage complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through contract execution
- Develop customized value propositions and ROI-driven business cases
- Conduct executive presentations and facilitate strategic business discussions
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to align solutions with customer objectives
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM management
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and executive meetings
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience selling consulting, advisory, professional services, or other complex B2B solutions
- Proven success managing long sales cycles and executive-level relationships
- Experience selling into procurement, sourcing, supply chain, operations, finance, or corporate leadership functions
- Strong business acumen with the ability to discuss cost structures, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and operational performance
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with C-level and VP-level decision makers
- Bachelor's degree required
