Role Description The District Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Portland, OR, responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within the district. This role includes leading and coaching General Managers, ensuring each restaurant meets operational standards, and driving sales and profit growth. Daily responsibilities involve monitoring key performance indicators, reviewing labor and food costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies, brand standards, and health and safety regulations. The District Manager partners with restaurant leadership to improve guest satisfaction, maintain quality and cleanliness, and resolve escalated customer concerns. Additional duties include developing talent pipelines, supporting hiring and training initiatives, implementing marketing and promotional activities, and collaborating with corporate leadership on strategic goals and new store openings.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail management, including leadership of General Managers and diverse teams.
- Strong operational skills in budgeting, P&L management, cost control, inventory oversight, and scheduling.
- Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction through consistent service standards, quality assurance, and effective problem resolution.
- Effective leadership, coaching, and performance management skills, with a focus on developing and retaining talent.
- Solid communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve results across locations.
- Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and brand compliance requirements in a restaurant environment.
