Scrum Master with Business Analyst Components Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master with strong business analysis skills to join our team. This hybrid role combines the facilitation of Agile Scrum practices with analytical expertise to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader for the Scrum team while driving requirements gathering, process evaluation, and solution development.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and guide the Scrum team in adopting Agile principles and practices.
- Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify impediments to the team s progress and foster collaboration across teams
- Guide teams in applying Scrum practices and Agile methodologies to enhance productivity.
- Remove impediments that hinder progress and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor team performance using KPIs and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Support cross-team coordination to manage dependencies and risks effectively.
- Ensure transparency by tracking progress and communicating project status to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements for projects
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for nontechnical stakeholders
- Monitor project deliverables and ensure timely completion while managing competing priorities
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and techniques (user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and and servant leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization platforms

Objectives of the Role
- Artifacts Creation of Shared Agendas, Relationship Diagnoses, Accelerators, and Engagement Plans
- Weekly Check-ins Facilitation of weekly meetings, action tracking, and reporting
- Agile Coaching & Adoption Training teams on Scrum methodologies and Agile practices
- Conduct survey, analyze results, and recommend improvements
- Develop and manage artifacts including: Shared Agendas, Relationship Diagnoses & Improvement Plans, Relationship Accelerators, and Engagement Plans using standardized templates.
- Oversee operational processes in Jira, ensuring: escalations are tracked and addressed, Follow-ups with responsible parties are completed, trends in operational issues are analyzed and reported
- Monitor progress in Jira and Align, providing timely updates, tracking milestones, and ensuring prompt resolution of blockers.
