Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and decompose the existing product backlog for infrastructure automation initiatives
- Create detailed, well-structured user stories that align with agile methodologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including DevOps teams, IT managers, and business units to gather and refine requirements
- Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and assist in sprint planning
- Ensure user stories are properly prioritized based on business value and technical dependencies
- Develop acceptance criteria for each user story to ensure clear definition of done
- Work closely with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to maintain an efficient and effective backlog
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure automation processes
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the infrastructure landscape
- Manage feature and story maps to help facilitate product strategy decisions, release planning, and prioritization of work
- Uncover and document business rules, business logic, and process flows to fully incorporate the business into the solution
- Illustrate system flows to identify dependencies and opportunities for improvements
- Define what business value means to the client and how each feature and story contributes to maximize the value the team delivers.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of infrastructure automation concepts and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Docker)
- Proficiency in creating user stories and managing product backlogs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps)
