Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Conduct floor care activities including polishing, waxing, and deep cleaning carpets to maintain optimal appearance and hygiene
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during visits
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking as needed to ensure all cleaning tasks can be completed smoothly
- Execute specialized cleaning procedures such as upholstery cleaning or window washing when required
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of janitorial practices
- Experience with floor care techniques including polishing, waxing, and carpet extraction methods
- Background in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols in various environments
- Hands-on experience with laundry operations and stain removal techniques
- Prior management experience in housekeeping is a plus for supervisory roles
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation such as vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, and floor buffers
