After School Activity Assistant (Part-Time)
World Peace Taekwondo | Cartersville, GA
World Peace Taekwondo is hiring a part-time assistant for our After School Program. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with elementary school children and can help keep afternoons safe, organized, and fun.
You’ll work alongside our staff to supervise students, support homework time, and lead games and activities. Martial arts experience is welcome, but not required.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise students and help them follow the daily routine
- Provide homework support and encourage students to stay focused
- Help organize indoor games, group activities, and active play
- Reinforce program rules with patience and consistency
- Keep activity areas clean and organized
- Share student updates with staff and parents professionally
- Help with daily preparation and cleanup
What We’re Looking For
- A dependable person who arrives on time and works well with others
- Patience, good judgment, and a positive approach to working with children
- Availability Monday through Friday afternoons
- Ability to pass a background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Access to a smartphone or computer for work communication
Experience in an after-school program, childcare, school, summer camp, or youth sports is a plus. CPR or First Aid certification is also preferred.
Pay and Hours
- $12–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, approximately 2:00 PM–6:30 PM
- Part-time, in-person position in Cartersville, GA 30120
