What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at World of Magic?
World of Magic Halloween is hiring for the 2026 Season! We have been Santa Barbara's Halloween Superstore since 1985. Come join our family! This position is seasonal and runs from mid August to mid November.
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are driven to provide our customers with a fun and memorable shopping experience.
We are also hiring for Keyholders, Assistant Managers and Managers so there is opportunity for upward mobility in this position. Pay for sales associates starts at $17.90/hr.
Duties will include:
- Assisting in merchandising product onto the walls, restocking walls as needed.
- Assisting customers in shopping and recovery of the store on a daily basis.
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales floor, dressing room, and at the check out counter.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
