The Waldo School in in Downtown Jersey City is seeking a part-time Spanish teacher to start in the January 2024 school year. Teacher would be responsible for teaching a total of 11 45-minute classes twice per week for.
Teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging Spanish lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum, observing and evaluating student performance, keeping accurate records of student progress, communicating with parents about student successes and goals, participating in ongoing training sessions and staff meetings, and integrating a variety of resources and teaching methodologies into the classroom, among other responsibilities. Teacher must have 2-3 years experience teaching their subject area and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Salary will be paid on a per-class basis.
Knowledge of IB-Curriculum preferred
