The World Equestrian Center-Ocala is currently seeking a Bell Person to join our team!
The Bell Person is primarily responsible for welcoming all guests to the resort as well as bidding them farewell. The Bellman typically remains in the lobby at the main entrance, but also assists our guests with luggage at the Residences, orienting guests with the features of our resort, making deliveries, stores and organizes luggage, assist guests with check-in and check-out if necessary and assisting our guests in any way to make them feel more comfortable.

Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guest to the establishment and offer professional valet services.
- Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items.
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot.
- Answer guests' questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities and other available services.
- Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions.

- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 50lbs.
- Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- Associate must talk and hear.
- Ability to communicate professionally.
- Customer service experience and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time.
- Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information.
- Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once.
- Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission.
- Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys.
- Superior customer service skills are required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Experience in hotel setting preferred.
