Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counter Sales role based in Wildwood, FL. The Counter Sales team member assists customers at the sales counter and by phone, identifying product needs, preparing quotes, and processing orders accurately in the system. Responsibilities include providing product information, suggesting add-on or alternative items, and ensuring orders are picked up or staged correctly. The role also involves coordinating with warehouse and inside sales staff, handling returns and exchanges, maintaining a clean and organized counter area, and ensuring merchandise displays are stocked and labeled. The Counter Sales team member will continuously build product knowledge, follow company policies and safety procedures, and support a positive, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to listen, problem-solve, and interact professionally with a wide range of customers.
- Sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and support add-on and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ability to assist with Training of customers on basic product use and support internal knowledge sharing with team members.
- Basic Sales Management capabilities such as organizing daily priorities, managing follow-ups on quotes, and maintaining accurate customer and order information.
- Previous experience in counter sales, retail, or wholesale distribution is preferred; electrical product or construction industry knowledge is a plus.
- Comfort using POS or ERP systems, basic computer applications, and handling cash or credit transactions accurately.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site full time, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or industry-related training is an advantage.
