Position : Director Operations III (AO1069)
Purpose :
The purpose of the Director of Operations III role is to run restaurants in a high volume, moderately complex location by directing, planning, and managing the revenue generating and operations activities of the leadership team of restaurant managers and support staff, ensuring all restaurants are clean, staffed, open for business, and operating to high operational and financial standards.
Essential Functions :
Open and Close :
Ensures all F&B Multi-Ops Managers, GMs, and staff recognize the importance of preparing each restaurant for next-day opening.Facilitates the development and implementation of the annual budget, financial forecasts and other business goals.Develops and maintains relationships with landlords, brands, and DBE partners.Staffing / Deployment :
Interviews candidates for key jobs and makes hiring decisions for associates within the zone.Responsible for scheduling managers to ensure the branch has a leader-decision maker on site during all hours of operations.Ensures onboarding and offboarding of all restaurant associates is conducted properly.Supports company recognition initiatives and develops plans to motivate and recognize restaurant staff.Reads and understands financial and operational data to monitor progress towards zone goals.Product Availability / Working Equipment :
Ensures F&B Multi-Unit Managers, GMs, and leadership staff are accountable for preparing daily orders.Ensures restaurants receive goods and process invoices.Monitors and maintains restaurant equipment.Brand Knowledge / Proficiency :
Assesses skill levels of F&B Multi-Unit Managers, GMs, and leadership staff and recommends training as necessary.Maintains a working knowledge of brand standards, lease agreements, and procedures.Visual / Vibe / Appeal :
Manages the day-to-day activities of F&B Multi-Unit Managers, GMs, and leadership staff.Implements marketing programs as directed by OSC or brand initiatives.Safety :
Maintains understanding of all sanitary, safety, and health standards.Ensures new managers and associates are trained in wellness check protocols.Important Information :
The Director of Operations - III position falls under the Fair Labor Standards act as an Exempt position.Typically reports to the Regional Director of Operations.Expected to work a varied and rotating schedule.Minimum Qualifications :
